I originally asked these questions in the thread "General installation help," but since I have successfully installed Grawlix I'll repost my questions here.

Looking through the control panel, the only thing I'm struggling to figure out right now is: how do I change the aesthetics of the site (besides choosing between the two versions of the indotherm theme)? (eg. How do I upload my own banner? Change link colors?)
Also, is there a way around the default frequency settings? There's MWF, Weekdays, Sat, Sun, M, Tue, W, Thu, and F. Seems that whatever I choose will display at the bottom of my site in the manner of "Updates mwf." That's a minor annoyance as I can just ignore it, but the selections are a bit limiting. Strong Female Protagonist updates Tuesdays and Fridays. Order of the Stick just updates whenever Rich Burlew decides it does.
Still, my more pressing concern is in the first paragraph.
---
Site health check says ".htaccess file not found." Should I worry about that?
EDIT: Found this in the readme: "* Rename `htaccess.txt` to `.htaccess`"
However, every time I do that all the pages on the site 404.
EDIT2: Another thing. If I wanted to replace the "© 2015 by Roman Snow" at the bottom with a more specific license, where would I do that?
The visual customization of my site is still the first thing I want to know how to do though. Thanks in advance.
