Crowdfunding Grawlix

Hey all,

It's been a few weeks (months?) since Grawlix went down from the homepage url and all social media was pulled. I was sad to see it go and thought everything was else shutdown. Luckily after using Google, I found all the other pages, including the forums, still running. I see some new faces and new people helping, Kabocha seems to be a big help around here, and I was wondering if anyone would be interesting in getting a crowdfund together.

The Grawlix CMS has helped so many people run a webcomic, myself included (http://thedaemoschronicles.co/), and I know at one point it was just two people working on it for free. There were bugs, people ran into problems, and with just two people it may have been a bit tough to keep things afloat. With the forum still available for support and the downloads page still active, what we really need is a dedicated team of coders, 3-5, who really know their way around .php, html, and css.

A good team of coders doesn't come out of nowhere though. Everyone is driven by money. If we can get enough funding to pay a team of coders, and do some proper marketing, then we can revive Grawlix as a great webcomic CMS with people dedicated to fixing the bugs, providing support, even expanding its docs, tools, themes, everything!

I loved Grawlix so much, I wrote a step-by-step walkthrough, with visuals, so that anyone, even someone with no coding knowledge, can get started. You can find it here - http://www.thedaemoschronicles.com/grawlix-cms-setup-walkthrough/

So how about it? Anyone interested, has experience with crowdfunding, or just wants to add some coding to their portfolio, please respond. I'm going to be promoting multiple projects with a social media challenge in January 2018 and I want to add crowdfunding for Grawlix to the list.
