Error When Trying to Edit Themes

I get the following error when I click on either theme choice.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home/jwwwacha/public_html/_admin/lib/GrlxXML_Theme.php on line 300

The only regular brackets on line 300 are around a zero [0] following ($xpath)

I use jaguarpc web hosting.
