First of all, I just wanted to say that I love Grawlix! :) I had a webcomic years ago, which I abandoned and then deleted. I often thought about resurrecting it, but the technical issues of that undertaking always put me off, because I was using an old unsupported CMS. Then I found Grawlix, and suddenly I'm actually having FUN creating a new website. Thank you for that.
Anyway, I'm having a minor issue with page publication dates. My comics date back to 2002, but when creating new pages in the admin, the year pulldown menu only goes back to the current year minus 10. I can correct the years by manually editing the date_publish fields in the database, but of course if I make any edits through the admin, the year always reverts back.
I was thinking I could edit the pertinent files in _admin to make the year pulldown go back farther, but I wanted to run that by you first to make sure it's safe. I realize that if I update Grawlix later I'll have to go back in and change them all again, but I'm okay with that as long as I'm not going to wreck anything. It's just that I'm going to need to add a lot of comics that are older than 10 years, and I'd rather not to have to manually edit them all in the database afterwards, or worry about them reverting to a different date later.
Thank you! :)
