Help starting!

Hello,

I am starting this stamp thing with my 7y.o. son, I have gotten him onto discworld with of all things is that my cow. Now he listens to audio books and knows the A.M. street layout better than home. Anyway I digress, I would like any advice on getting him started (and me), I am getting him a subscription to the magazine and a season pass. But any advice how to buy other stamps. He has $100.00 US a month allowance. And I as well. So it's between these dr.who and starwars. We are on a fixed budget so any advice will help, Also how do I store or display them and where to buy supplies.
