Hello!
I am just starting out with Grawlix (and webcomics in general), and I am trying to figure out how to translate my drawn image-assets into working elements of a website. The difficulty I am encountering is that, for both my navigation and menu (which also functions as the site's header, ideally), I have single images that I would like to divide into multiple clickable components, while still maintaining their single-image presentation.
To give concrete examples, here is the image for my header/menu: http://www.theturtlelibrary.com/images/sampleimages/menuSLICEDsimple.png
And the navigation image: http://www.theturtlelibrary.com/images/sampleimages/navigation.png
My best attempt at making this work has been using the photoshop "slice" tool to subdivide the images, exporting the collection of piecemeal images and accompanying photoshop-generated HTML, and then attempting (with no practical success) to get all of this to display on my site.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it immensely!
- christopher
P.S. In case it's relevant, I currently have the Indotherm theme installed, but I have been jumping back and forth between all of the various themes, trying to find out what is the best base to build into the site I have in my head.
