Media Folder?

Does Grawlix have a media folder like WordPress? I was just wondering because I am looking into editing themes, and to change my banner, I need to edit the img src, which is fine and all, except I don't have a place to upload my files. I uploaded a file into my directory in my file manager, viewed it and copied the url, but it didn't work. So I'm assuming I need to upload it elsewhere. So, does Grawlix have a place it stores all its images that I can access through my admin panel?

Here's where I'm having trouble. Following this:

The site logo
Upload your logo image to /themes/stick_figure (the same folder in which you found this file).
Open the file “snippet.header.php”.
Replace the image src on line 26 with the path to your image. Don’t forget to use a sensible alt attribute.

Now, I'm no code wizard, but I went to line 26, replaced the text between the first parentheses (") with a url for an image I uploaded to another website. I then put "Site Logo" in place of "Site_name". Saved it and reuploaded snipper.header.php file to my file manager.

Is this wrong?
